I'm all stiff and achy after yesterday's ride. 18.5 miles not too many but for some reason I'm aching.

I suppose I got away with it as I wasn't going very fast at the time. Low speed, high torque situation.

It happened right at the top of a very short, sharp climb that I am just about able to manage on single speed, so was out of the saddle but at maybe 6 MPH. With no foot attachment, I just sort of landed heavily on my feet.

You were lucky. I did a similar thing when my pedal came off but I went down like a sack of spuds hitting the crossbar.

Today's truck has 400444 kilometres on the odometer and has taken me to Willenhall & back before deciding that there was too much air in the FNS tyre so it went flat..

Good morning all, cool and grey here, a slight hint of sun this morning.

It must have been a bit chilly overnight because my living room is only just warm enough to sit around in my underwear. I didn't want to put more clothes on because I would only have to take them off again when I get into the bath.

I'm a bit disappointed with my Mocha Java coffee. It's a good enough Java but there's very little Mocha to it. Oh well, I've only got another 1.8kg of beans to consume before moving onto something new.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a cool and mostly cloudy start to the day. At least the strong breeze appears to have eased off.
Coffee has been had and two more lots of rail tickets purchased - just one more lot to do on Saturday and then I can get the non-app based ones printed out in one go.
This morning will be occupied by a bedding change & wash followed by vacuuming the carpets.

In more beverage news, I'm out of loose tea. Tesco's Red (Original) and Gold seem to be permanently unavailable, which suggests they have discontinued them but haven't got around to announcing it yet. I think I may have to go to Marks & Spencer because their Gold tea is pretty good, though pricy for everyday consumption. Or maybe I could see what Waitrose have to offer. If I can face going in there.

My Mother always bought 'Indian Prince' Tea from the Co-op, dunno if they still do it but I'm no use as I drink Green (Chinese) Tea........bought from Aldi at a very good price and drank sans milk or sugar.
