Oh! I wonded on the Bremium Ponds the other day. £125! I thought they had forgotten all of my numbers.

Good morning from Suffolk where the early morning sunshine has found something better to do and buggered off leaving us with grey cloud as a poor replacement.

Coffee had been had and most of the morning so far has been spent checking hotel costs and travel options for an outing in February which is complicated by already having something booked a couple of days before. Nothing else will be done this morning until the approaching rain line has passed through.

took me a good hour or more to find a place to stay for a one night trip to the seaside over the weekend , i know its still the end of the holiday season but how hard can it be to find somewhere with parking and breakfast ? i tried all the usual sites and even looked at premier inn etc with not much luck , its no good recommending one 40 miles away or somewhere wanting over £1k fir one night ! I know its short notice although we only just decided as mrs ck isnt working on a sat for a change and i was not going to work extra and im giving the knee a rest still so i thought it would be a good idea to have a trip as mrs ck and the kids always moan we dont do anything ( yes we do but if they dont surface till after dinner its hard to plan anything )
Finally managed to find somewhere but breakfast is extra but not listed in price but at least it is in the right place and i can park .

I was surprised at how expensive York was for the weekend after next but it turns out that it's the return to university, so that may have bumped prices up. The alternative consideration was the far cheaper Scarborough. It's definitely off season prices there.
