I enjoy mooching around on the 'bay as you lot well know.

Tonight I'm having some serious laughs with people bidding on luxury watches that are so obviously fake - in this case a "Franck Mueller" and a "Rolex". Unless of course, someone's shilling their own lots to make them more attractive.

Nowt as queer as folk...

a customer at my part time job came in a cpl weeks ago. wanted to build shelves for her fiancé. said she had all her books in boxes & she wanted to finally get them unboxed. I made 6 shelves for her. we chatted about voracious readers & book "keeping". my brother keeps all his, my son might but I have no idea where they are. when I finish a book, it gets knocked around the house for a while & then I donate it to the library

your philosophy?

I had a massive clear out a few years ago and got rid of all bar one of my bookcases and display units, replacing them with two large bookcases from Ikea. All the videos were dumped, the DVDs were kept (they were box sets, F1 & BTCC collections) and i ruthlessly went through the books keeping those that I liked (full Stephen King collection for example) or knew were worth a few pounds and kept going until I only had half a shelf worth of space left. That left about half a dozen black sacks worth of paperbacks that went down to the local recycling centre.
These days I rarely buy physical books even though I prefer them, instead I'm working through multiple cheap collections of 50s and 60s sci-fi on my Kindle instead.

And it's time for me to put the writing away and trot off to bed via a nice hot bath.

Nunnight one and all xxx :hello:
