Enjoyed a little walk this morning, got back just as the rain started.

I've done as much as I can be bothered with and have just sat down with a mug of coffee. What do I do for the next hour or two while waiting for the kitchen floor to dry - it's still too wet & windy for a bike ride and I really shouldn't go out and have a couple of drinks as everything needs to be put back into the kitchen when I get back - although that could be quite 'interesting'

Soggy doggy walk today.. I love the smell of wet dog in afternoon 🐶

Very stormy now. Reports on the local online rag about trees down all over the place.

I think cancelling my weekend away was the right decision.

We've only got to light rain and a breeze so far. But this hasn't stopped the traffic having a wet Friday afternoon's beep-beep off. (This involves one car to effectively plug up the road and all the others to hit the horn on their onboard games consoles until the blockage disappears. Loud obscenities also seem to be an effective tactic.)

The evening's hot chocolate has just been finished. Unfortunately it was made about 45 minutes ago and needed a quick nuking to bring it back up to a decent temperature.

that's always tricky for me, especially in a ceramic mug

I drove to Corsham about 3 miles away to a bike shop to see if they could remove a Maillard freewheel for me. I bought 8 spokes and nipples whilst I was there.
I over did it yesterday as I have been away with the fairies for most of today.

Raining gently
Can't see me get a bike ride in tomorrow morning so might go for a walk instead.
Anyway it's nearly the weekend

There is about two or three inches of deflection on my bedroom window when the really strong gusts blow on it.
