The weather is changeable here, according to whether I am in the back garden or the front garden.

Some plants in the front garden were relocated yesterday. I went out to water them, and it was light drizzle, but cold.

I was in the back garden about half an hour later, and it was warmish sunshine with a cool breeze.

In other news I found my sewing mojo. The last place I looked was under the sewing machine, and there it was!

Events of the last two years have severely limited the time for such frivolities as sewing. There were too many domestic chores, hopsital visits, and feeling very ill. There are still lots of domestic chores, but less hopsital visits, and some days I feel betterer.

I knew there was three garments that needed a few details finishing off, like adding buttons etc. On one blouse I had chosen completely the wrong colour for the top stitching. So I have unpicked the wrong one, and chosen the correct colour.

Turned sunny if windy at times. Got a message from the doctors that they were running early with the covid/flu jabs so back at the car after all some shopping in town at the time I would have been jabbed. Hope I didn't catch covid waiting. Someone coughing and spluttering like mad and on entering a different doctors declared Think I've got that Covid thing.
Car filled up, only had 4 litres left on it.
Neighbour going frantic, cat has vanished.
Maybe hiding from the wind

Flu jab done, although it's hit as usual and I'm feeling the effect, and I'm up in Brampton for the night to hang curtains and cut the grass.

Afternoon stroll around the extended block was nice as first walk since Thursday.

An afternoon cuppa of hot chocolate went down well with a Mollie's digestive.

Flu jab has been jabbed 💉
I booked for 16:55 as the surgery shut at 17:00 & I was the last customer.
I think there were 8 or 9 staff pandering to my every need 😁

That's sensible @PeteXXX - in Dewsbury this morning there was chaos as lots of elderly drivers all struggled to get into the car park at the same time.

I parked elsewhere.

As I was working, I left enough time to get home, have a snooze & walk the dog..
Happily, i only live ½ a mile from the surgery so I walked there as I know that the small car park gets jammed solid 👍

I've helped an extremely large spider re-locate from the house in Brampton to the empty house next door by way of their letterbox.

I hope it appreciated my efforts.

Just realised that what i though was a ginger cake was actually a fruit cake so i had the last piece with my evening cuppa just to confirm it was a fruit cake .
