Washing hung out, a seemingly pointless wash of tea towels, do I try a better stain remover or just buy some new ones?
Sunny until c.3.
Work visits and the one set of temp lights encountered brought me to a stop opposite where I had watched the mens time trial just over 6 years ago.

The morning's washing got hung out on the whirlygig to dry as there were glimpses of sunshine - which promptly disappeared until very late afternoon. The summer duvet then got a good wash while I was out on an extended shopping trip/pootle and is on the clothes horse drying. The afternoon ride was shorter then anticipated due to that annoying fine, misty drizzle that doesn't show on the rain radar.

What on earth do they put in chain lube? The chain is all gummed up and so we're the rear mech idlers. It wouldn't wash off with petrol or car wash. In the end I used cellulose thinners on a rag. The idlers I used a flat bladed screwdriver. My next task I started this evening. Trying to thread a wire through the frame for the cables. I managed to do the front mech one relatively easy using some thin brass tubing. The rear brake cable was a different matter. I managed to get the brass tube through but when I taped the tube to the wire which I use to feed the cable through the tape joint was too thick! The entry point for the cable is too narrow! Unlike my carbon Planet X which had inserts which could be removed these are fixed. I opened the hole in which the cable will enter a bit but not too much as the cable outer has to stop there. I was wondering how much cycle shops charge for replacing these cables? I'm going to do it myself but was just curious as it's not simple job especially when there aren't any cables in there.

Another day nearly done.

It was a lovely morning for walking to work. I somehow survived my day in the office and all the team games I had to endure. Overall, I feel I made the right choice by insisting on having a work-from-home contract as it suits an introvert!

A lot of free food going around and one of my managers had brought in stuff she had baked herself. I have to say it was very nice. Is it possible to die from an overdose of lemon cheesecake? (Asking for a friend!)

I'm just back from my dance class now.
