I have managed to get 3 wires into my Cannondale frame. I found 2 bits of clear plastic tube in the frame. Each bit was just over 1 foot long and just over 1/16 in diameter. I don't think the previous cables ran through it as they only went part way into the frame but they did prove useful. I used my 1/16 brass rod to do the first run through the frame. I put a slight bend in one end and a right angle bend at the other. This way I could manipulate the brass tube when I saw it at the exit point. Once out I used a small piece of the plastic tube to slide over the brass tube and then glued my garden wire into the other end of the plastic tube and pulled it back through the frame. I will do a similar thing but using the garden wire and the new cable but going the other way. The new cables are plenty long enough so I can cut them to length once out. What a faf!

Today's 73 plate truck has 450980 kilometres on the odometer and has taken me to Acocks Green & soon to Wellingborough & Thrapston..

I'll wave at @biggs682 if I see him wobbling along the road 😋

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been another morning under a blanket of grey cloud, this time after a slightly misty start. Coffee and a lie in with the radio in the background have been had.

Another quiet day ahead - I've got to go food shopping for tomorrow's day out and then sort out the car including putting a bike in the boot of the car so that I can get around at Silverstone. Don't fancy all that faffing around first thing on Sunday.

Just had my flu jab, so I will be taking it easy for the rest of the weekend.

What brand of hot chocolate powder do peeps on here like to drink?

Friday's 'trial run' went well. Sunny most of the day, loaded up at Merv's Hot Bread Kitchen & the discount stall on the market - ! ^_^
Said stall had an unusual item for sale; a 7.5kg. Toblerone bar for £50 - !
As a 750gm. bar is around £20, that IS good value. The manny on the stall recommended 'mechanical means' to break it up, Probably meant a meat cleaver - !
Already a bit overloaded with other goodies, couldn't risk the extra weight, but maybe another time - ! :okay:

Greene thingie... I'll check when I'm next in the kitchen.
Usually for Saturday afternoon review with Cook. But she is doing curtains. Can't imagine it. They'll have lumps and taste like .......
She's a rubbish cook but been here so long can't fire her. She sort of came with the property......along with bad drains, a spot of leaky roof and the holes in the drive
Oh what fun to hire a young enthusiastic, maybe pretty, cook... What's more important, nice legs or decent cream anglaise?
Oh dear, I've woken up ........

Um..340g ones are typically £6 and currently £4.48 in Asda.
Sunny day, washing out, lawns cut, and wood filled a rotting fence horizontal.
Then realised I hadn't switched off the washer spur and as I did the earth leakage breaker tripped. Seems that the switch has to pressed dead centre for that not to happen. The "fuse" box is at the back of a cupboard under the stairs always needing an excavation to reach it. Knocked a tray of lightbulbs over and found my long missing, assumed fallen in a recycling bag, font bike light:smile:
