I'm on my last page of my enormous book of Sudoku puzzles. It's taken about a thousand years to get to this stage!
Why not start your next one from the back!

Old laptop base (ie lost its screen), usual Lenovo failure of broken hinges, sits under the work laptop and when needed for use with a couple of usb devices the work laptop sis moved whike a monitor hdmi lead and a usb multi way are connected the old laptop.
Tonight it had the latest old W11 update abd rebooted to login in screens with an oit if date MS account showing
Then went in a loop of putting in the right account only for it then to have an login failure and back to the login screen
On the fourth attempt it came up with an option of go to desktop. Phew! It did, rebooted it and back to the desktop it wen. So hopefully okay until the next update.

Nice hour and a half out on the bike this afternoon while the washing dried on the whirlygig. Almost unbroken sunshine, but quite a stiff breeze and just on the right side of cold.
There was also half an hour of accidental gardening - I went to the top of the back garden to pick up a couple of bits that had fallen off the neighbour's tree (Cordyline? - long fibrous leaves that jam up the mower) and ended up doing a bit of weeding and removing of dead lilly stalks. If it dries out enough next week, I may give the mower a quick trip over the lawns as that will pick up all the leaves blown down yesterday.

I finally got out on my Pashley for a decent twenty mile ride. Very pleased with it. It's a different riding experience but pretty responsive and is deceptively fast once you get going. Then you arrive at a sharp corner and remember you have the steering geometry of a vintage roadster. It's so smooth though, it's like going down the road on your favourite armchair. Also completely silent. The five speed hub doesn't have the distinctive Sturmey tick.
There's something very appealing about the look of the Speed 5 model you've just got (especially the colour), even though it's completely at odds with my riding preferences. Just had a look on Ebay and thankfully there's none available*, but a 3 speed Guv'nor auction finishes on Saturday afternoon and is just up the train line in Norwich!
Must stay away from the internet and remind myself I have absolutely no spare space for it.

*Edit - at a reasonable price
