I just looked at my watch and it said it was 3:30. I'd put my watch on upside down after showering.

I wrote that just after 9 but forgot to post it. There are better ways to wake up!

Very wet night. Early ferry. Currently limping into Dover.
Going to be late, absent for a birthday lunch. Dog house looms.
Might stay with Vanessa til things blow over.

Probably no cycling today either.

Domestic duties and a deep clean of the bath. The sealant to the wall tiles invariably gains a layer of mould and finally found a cleaner that works without spending hours of scrubbing, HG Mould Remover Foam Spray. Did need a trip to Aldi for a new pair of rubber gloves and quite a rummage to find a pack sized L.

A group were orienteering around local lake and parklands. Most were running hard, but one was taking it easier 😃 Beautiful day.

Having been to Aldi a Co-op trek for Aldi price chicken breasts and eggs, albeit with use of a 25p app voucher. En route dropped three books off at a charity shop. Told them I had a 2ft pile of them, did they want them in bulk or in drips, asked for the latter.

Second cuppa went down well with half of a lemon drizzle sponge cake.

Afternoon Toolstation trek. Noted at lunchtime the shelf I had put the display cabinet on yesterday was showing signs of parting company with the plasterboard wall.
Transpired the screws were in plastic plugs and a clear need for something stronger was needed.

Cleaning day today,hoovering dusting and such.Whilst cleaning the bedroom window frame the insides i found multiple ladybirds sleeping,i could not believe it,outside they went.I must have done too much cos i fell asleep after dinner,woke up just in time for a coffee.Watching FA Cup footie,then Liverpool v Villa later.

Didn't do too much today. It looked nice for a few minutes here and there between showers and I still feel lethargic and aches pains from yesterday. COVID vaccine always does this to me.

My neighbour was asking me if my car was broken and if I needed a lift somewhere as he always sees me walking into town! Surely choosing a ten minute walk over sitting in a traffic jam can't be that unusual...

Pre evening meal cuppa went down well, tempted to have another one soon.
Had a fair bit of rain this afternoon
