I found my front light. It was in a bag of tools and bits - not cycling stuff, but my bag of bits that normally goes to cat shows.

Green recycling bin is kerbside , nothing in the garden waste bin so no point having it emptied

Fabby supper of vegetable soup, then pumpkin wellington, fried potatoes and cauliflower & broccoli cheese. And a good dollop of cranberry sauce on the side.

I must have had a bit more energy than expected today. The bedding was changed, washed and stuck out to dry on the whirlygig, the vacuuming was done and the kitchen floor steam mopped. Then it was shopping time and I did the outbound leg (tail wind) on minimum assist level on the ebike and, despite panniers full of squash, milk, biscuits and similar essentials, almost all of the return leg apart from one short sharp ramp was also done on minimum assist.

Since then I've sorted the overnight bag ready for Thursday morning, got most things ready for next week's outing and done another wash of a load of cycling clothing. I think it's time for this evening's hot chocolate and possibly a small chocolate bar as a treat.

What a difference the new coffee machine is, suddenly mugs of coffee are of greater quantity than the other one was churning out recently. Was thinking of keeping it but its definitely heading to the recycling site.
Work visits this afternoon and with 50+ miles to do the Texaco was called in at on the way into the office to collect some paperwork. Nearly stayed dry.
@Reynard have you been using the front light as a torch?

What's the new machine?
I've been using a Tassimo one occasionally for the past few months and have been disappointed that a 'large' is only half a mug and even the XL Americano pods only give 3/4 of a mug unless holding the button for extra water which weakens the strength. Still prefer the filter cone over the mug for a full sized cuppa.
