Good morning from a grey skied Suffolk with added dampness in the air. Coffee had been had after a very average night's sleep.

The overnight bag has been placed by the front door ready for today's away day. It's a new venue & destination for me today - Where Else in Margate to see The Bug Club this evening. Breakfast first and then off to the train station in about an hour and a quarter.

The shopping done at Aldi yesterday still isn't showing as being debited from my bank account yet - I know I paid as I had the on screen "Print Receipt?" message at the till and the following Tesco shop is showing as debited.

Very much a light grey sort of morning. I should turn off the overhead light because the heavy bank of cloud has long since passed over without spilling any water.

It's a waiting for deliveries day for me.

Though it's generally against my principles, I've just washed the breadknife.

Now London bound and changing at Stratford for Stratford International. There's almost an hour between trains so do I spend it wandering around hell (Westfield shopping centre) or around the Olympic park?

Coukd depend on the mug size. Bought some from Dunelm and they are 100ml greater in capacity than my old ones.

Morning walk atound town prior to a doctors appointment. M&S was fully open but TGJ (ex WHS) did not open until 9. When it did open a nice stack of the magazine I wanted rather than a single badly thumbed copy

Ended up walking through Westfield to get to the Olympic Park - how can people enjoy shopping centres? Overly lit, garishly coloured, people all over the place and the overwhelming odour of various food and drink outlets.

Now in Margate and, to put it kindly, it's not the best place I've been to by a long way. Added to which there's been an email from the venue saying they can't serve alcohol due to an "adminstrative oversight" so it's bring your own bottle with a corkage change - they won't be getting any of my money.
