Today's 73 plate truck has 446228 kilometres on the odometer and has taken me, yet again, to Wymondham where it is not raining (as opposed to yesterday's deluge!)

I think my nicest are the Lumix GH3, which is unrecognizable due to all the cinema rig gear attached to it, a G5 and G-1 as well, and an Olympus Pen EP-2 to round out the M43 Crowd, as well as a Pentax K-10 and K-m for the APS-c size, and a Canon G-10 which replaced my Canon G-9 which died like they all do from electrical failure, and some Canon Vixia camcorders for social stuff and non-YouTube and non semi pro video work. And a Lumix FZ 20, as well. I think many of these came from MPB and Goodwill, though.

I've got a K10, had it a few years now. Started off with an IstD.

It's been a soggy, squelchy, miserable day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well enough, but still feel really drained. Spent the morning topping up all the firewood in the house, and adding the insulation / draught excluder strips to the second of the kitchen windows. Did the outer casement, but didn't quite have enough to finish the inner, so a trip to B&M is required for another pack.

Lovely luncheon of brie and cranberry on toast, a pear and a :cuppa:

Then out of my gate to watch Sir Nigel Gresley go past. They were running nearly 15 mins late, so let's just say I got a bit drookit. Did capture vid footage though, so will post it for those who are of a railwayish persuasion. Coat is dripping out in the hallway, and jeans on the clothes horse upstairs.

After, it was off to pick up Madam Ruby. Horrendous driving conditions, and the A10 was backed up all the way from Ely up to Black Horse, but fortunately in the opposite direction of the way I was going - I came back through Littleport. Madam duly picked up, paperwork done etc etc etc.

She is now hiding in the dining room behind my stash of walnuts. She has had some treats though, and I'll just leave her to decompress. I suspect she'll come out and explore the house once the humans have gone to bed.

Now sat down by the fire with a :cuppa: and about to turn on the early evening news.
Congratulations.
What sort is your new owner?

The weather out there reminds me of a time back in the 60's. My mum said that if I went out not to forget to switch the Burco boiler off. It was a big cylindrical thing standing on the floor which held gallons of water. I think there were some bed sheets in it. Guess who forgot to switch it off? I returned home hours later to find the kitchen full of fog with water on the walls and ceiling with puddles on the floor!

Sunny here and cycling on the menu.
Just they all drive on the wrong side of the road.
I shout and wave at them but they act like it's normal.

Ah, but they do make nice cakes and coffee
