A dry and occasionally sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, albeit with a brisk westerly breeze that made things feel quite raw.
Sleep was a mixed bag. Couldn't drop off, so ended up listening to the F1, but dozed off after the start and only woke up with just a handful of laps from the end. And then I dropped off again, but not terribly deeply as I was too hot! Those pyjamas I bought in B&M are SO warm that I had to ditch the hot water bottle.
For £9, I'd recommend them if someone fancies a new pair of jimjams and doesn't want to break the bank.
Had a gentle morning catching up on the basic chores. Nice to have a quiet day for the most part. The only other task I've done today is making a pot of soup using some of the dry-aged beef scraps I picked up in Waitrose yesterday. What I didn't use has gone in the freezer.
