Out tomorrow, sister in law is taking father in law out for fish and chips.Me i am off down to local cafe for me dinner.then to Aldi one New York cheesecake and a pair of Belgian buns.price ck £1-79 bb £1-35 = £3-14 cheaper than piggin Costa's piddlingley small bakewell tart.Good old Aldi a fair treat for me and my mate Jack i bring the goodies he does me a big mug of coffee,Aldi is heaven for a tight fisted Yorkshireman.

Pretty much so for tight fisted Midwestern Americans, as well. One of the early Aldis was in the town where I grew up, used to have to drive my Auntie in her very old Nash Rambler to get groceries and pinch pennies. I learned a lot about thrift. Best legacy one can pass on.

That's me done for the day.

Ticket & hotel for April booked and two shopping trips done due to getting a backpack of bulky but light bits from different shops. The first included paying for the boiler service, the second included redeeming the free code at Cafe Nero for a large and very tasty hot chocolate. Also found some of my favourite coffee in Lidl so grabbed a couple of packs even though I've got other stuff in stock.

I'm now relaxing on the sofa with the radio in the background and a bag of crisps. If I start to feel the need for a snooze there will be a complete lack of resistance.

Ahead of Black Friday, I got a lovely bargain on the Bay of E. ^_^ I would like a proper/formal winter coat (instead of fleece). So for the princely sum of £23 plus £3 postage, I bought this one. It is very similar to this but in black, brand new with tags. It is a tad on the large size but that is so much more comfy than a close fit. The price from sparky pencer is rather "spendy" at £200.

People really should check before send. Got a long email trail in the work email this afternoon which from the first seemed to be about taking someone to court to get them to cough up £xxxxx
Did you mean to sent this to me?
No
Yesterdays clanger was an internal email from someone wanting help with some IT matter which managed to go to everyone. Numerous responses following of not me interspersed with others saying not to reply

Biggest thing I tend to get is people using CC not BCC. I do always laugh when it happens on the reminder about our annual GDPR training.

The worse example was some years ago the regional secretarial services at the cooperative group. Sent out an email to all the Northern elected members about our regional conference. Around 800 members got it all via CC, one member then started to have a classic pointless rant about the then Associated Cooperative Creameries. Via reply all instead of just regional secretary , next minute 100's of emails start doing the rounds, with this guy replying and then getting more replies, so it went on for days. Being on the board at the time meant I got all this three times via personal email , my group one and my Cooprative financial services one.
