A very enjoyable few hours was had in the lanes of South Norfolk today. Bright sunshine, light winds and not too cold. The only problem was the still wet and in some places very muddy roads so I've got a bike that needs cleaning, shoes that need wiping down and trousers that need washing. Stopped for a drink near the train station and was charged just over £7 for a cold pint of average beer, the next option turned out not to be available so I caught an earlier than expected train home.

Very little has been done since I got home to except purchase yet more rail tickets for various outings in February with the best being the outbound Newcastle trip for under £23 (Felixstowe - Leeds £13.50, Leeds - Newcastle £9). I'm still waiting for any weekend service alterations for late February to be included on the timetable so I can get home from Manchester on a Saturday and go back out to Leeds on the Sunday.

Lovely supper of the last of the soup, then the chicken, potatoes and veggies that I cooked yesterday.

There's still enough chicken, stuffing and cranberry sauce to make a very nice sandwich. That will take care of all the leftovers, and then I can start again. Need to think about what to take out of the freezer next. Some fish, maybe?

It is raining here. There was supposed to be a ride at 10 but it looks like it might be cancelled by the look of the puddles.

I've had to cancel my ride. I detected a fairy flapping its wings earlier. Feeling woozy and riding a bike don't mix.
