I've been wondering why Pete Hegsmith always stands as though he's poised to whip a Colt 45 from each trouser pocket at a split second's notice. Does he practice in the mirror?
It's rather odd.

An interactive mirror would be good. One which fires back!

what are you writing about? I can barely follow any of that. I know there's a language barrier, but a hint, please?

Sorry, a typo doesn't help.

The deck, patio, verandah at our house expired, died, became dangerous, was rotten beyond safe use.
I'm too mean to pay someone to install a new one.
Foolishly, I decided to do it myself. I set aside a week for the oroject.
I've realised I have met my match. I'm at the outer limits of my skill set.

But like cycling when you realise that there's maybe a hill too many and possibly a few more clicks to home than you'd like; you just suck it up and get on with it.

My little ravings here are part of my therapy as I realise I have committed to a bigger project than I can comfortably complete.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a bright, sunny and very frosty start to the day. Coffee has been had and the last custard cream biscuit from the pack eaten.

All is ready for today's away day to Leeds to see Porridge Radio at The Brudenell. This is the penultimate date of their farewell tour before going their separate ways after 10 years, during which I've seen them half a dozen times so I wasn't going to miss this one.
