My 11 o'clock appointment with the dental hygienist is running late. Waiting in dentist waiting rooms is one of my least favourite things. At least there's sunlight coming in the window.

One problem of lunch out being cancelled is that I've got no food ready for today, so it looks like it's the emergency pizza from the freezer being chucked in the oven later.

The bedding which was changed earlier in the weeks has been washed and is on the clothes horse to dry, a slice of toast and a mug of coffee have been had for lunch and I'm about to go out for an hour or two by foot to enjoy the rest of the still sunny afternoon.

Afternoon cuppa went down well
Getting chilly now

It's been a bright, sunny and mild day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well all things considering. My ankle is decidedly less numb and stiff, and my leg is sore but not painful. The worst is the itching underneath the compression bandage. Need to find a way of scratching the itch.

Had a gentle morning doing chores. A case of slowly, slowly catchee monkey.

A lovely luncheon of toast, cheese, a pear and a :cuppa:

The afternoon was spent sorting out Christmas cards and some gifts, and stocking up on cat cuddles.

Am having a :cuppa:and a couple of painkillers (my first since last night) while watching the early evening news.

Had my rabies and Japanese Encephalitis jabs today. First is series of three and the latter two. Had both in same arm, why chance having two achy arms 😀
👍
lately, when getting two, I've been doing one in each arm & keeping track of what went where, because I was curious which might bother me more. fwiw, doesn't seem to be much difference. the 4 I got recently: flu, covid, shingles, pneumonia
