Not really the inflammation with itching is more due to the immune response then say a swelling due to muscular pain. It would help with wound pain due to bruising.

And I'm pretty sure these damned dressings were designed by Torquemada...
Which ones you using ? A different one maybe more comfortable , can always ask Mrs 73 what options you may have

Looking for a a few last presents for Mrs 73, Etsy has has come in handy a good few time. It's always been easy to spot the mass market stuff but now it's like a full time job I've gone though pages of the stuff. Lucky i've got a few saved sellers hopefully I can find want I'm looking for.

Use baking paper as a liner betwen the grill plates and the meat/poultry. Significantly reduces cleaning needed.
Good quality reusable baking liner sheet cut to size would work well and lasts for years with quick wash.
