The hot chocolate used up the last of the milk and putting the bottle in the bin reminded me to check the council's website for Ch****mas changes. Recycling is being collected this Saturday instead of Monday so I must put the bin out front on Friday evening as it's rather full.
I is up early, brain wide awake at 5. Traditional ( in our house) minestrone is now partially assembled and coming to a simmer. Only about 6 litres. When Mrs O arises and we have breakfasted the sausage roll creation will begin. Target 72.
Family arrive this evening for our early Christmas get-together
Good morning from Suffolk where it's a lot brighter than yesterday (not difficult) with the sun just about making an appearance from behind the cloud.
Coffee has been had with two dark chocolate topped digestive biscuits from a freshly opened pack - the first one was broken so it doesn't count. I think I'll pop round and see dad later this morning and then on to my sister's to drop her card off, after which I might stop off somewhere for food and/or drink depending on how busy things are with people celebrating the end of the working week.
