225watts peak output from our solar panels for one day this week. That must have been yesterday when it was sunny. 8 panels not doing a great deal. They are not going to do much today covered in frost with the sun partially hidden by mist.

My system has a theoretical maximum output of 4kWh (1.7 kWh at the moment due to the low sun) but on Tuesday last week when it was especially dull, the total for the day was only 0.9kw.

Ours have powered the washing machine and are now re charging some AA batteries.

Another bank has been visited so swmbo can change her surname in the correct way.

Second cuppa went down well as did the hot cordial drink.

It's afternoon, sunny, and the frost on the flat-roofed block opposite still hasn't melted where it's in the shade. It may be the coldest midday of the year. I can predict that tomorrow will also be the coldest midday of the year. Though, of course, it will also be the warmest...

I'm considering bothering my daughter and g-kids for an end-of-year coffee.
