Short outing today to see what lanes are like. Icy in shady spots and at junctions as I’d expect. A bit colder for tomorrow’s Audax.

Just back from the shopping trip - it's bitterly cold in that breeze. The kettle went straight on for a hot drink and a sausage roll into the air fryer.
Well done B&Q. After a long doze queuing at the recycling site called in their for a wheeled plastic drawer unit. Had a £3 off £25 voucher which annoyingly did not work. Once home realised I had room for another, the idea being to banish tool boxes from the spare room and actually be able to find something without having to entirely empty what its in.
Realising I also had a £6 off £40 voucher a cunning plan emerged which the assistant in B&Q agreed to. Refund the one I had already taken, scan the second one twice and the resultant price reduced by £6. Even then it took her some time to get the voucher to work.
