Quite a bit of snow this morning and a very heavy shower during my perambulation.

I made a large pot of vegetable soup after work to keep me going for a few days.

I went for another walk and it is really thawing at the moment. A lot of compacted snow on the pavements, not nicely wetted as it is thawing. If it does freeze before morning, it will be a ice rink.

It is dark out. It looks like we have cloud cover as I could just see a narrow band of light blue on the eastern horizon.
