Pre next round chemo bloods test time. So sat waiting for my early appointment with the Practice Nurse.

A couple of months ago I bought two pairs of slippers as the shop selling them were meant to be closing down and had them at 50% off so I put them away in a draw and forgot about them.

Roll forward to last weekend and the slippers I have been wearing for the last year finally succumbed to a sloppy back so I thought right I will get one of my new pairs out but could I find them no I couldn't.

So when in a local shopping centre last weekend I saw a shoe shop and went in and purchased two pairs of slippers as they were heavily reduced , went home and put the spare pair on the shelf in the home office and went on with life.

Yesterday I was searching for something for something I needed and guess what I found instead yes the two pairs of slippers I bought a couple of months ago......

Good morning all, surfaced at 8 o’clock and it was already light, always nice to see. Looks bright and cold.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's slowly brightening up after a dull start and early light rain showers.

Coffee has been had and in about an hour I'm out to the train station with a bike. Today's destination is Diss for a meandering ride northwards through the South Norfolk countryside to Norwich where lunch & drinks will be had before the train home again.
