Wandered over the shop for milk earlier as I got to the old folks bungalows there is a black dude on an MTB coming the other way. Cycling 'no-handed' whilst gazing at his phone he nearly cleared up a couple of kids on their way to school (and he wasn't a young lad, mid 30's I'd say)
Anyhoo as I got to the corner I heard a clatter behind me and saw this guy picking himself and the bike up down by the railing barrier (put there to stop cars using the walkway as a 'cut-through')....................Made I chuckle a bit.
Oh and before anyone says "That's a bit cruel" the guy was an peanut, nice to see a bit of instant Karma.
Good morning from Suffolk where the cloud has cleared and the sun is shining after a very dull and damp start to the day. A small coffee has been had as there wasn't enough left in the pack for a full mug.
Once I've had a shower, there's a load of washing to be done While the machine's doing its thing I'll be out food shopping for the next few days. Domestics can wait until tomorrow when it's forecast to be a bit drizzly.
Some good news in the morning's email inbox. The home buildings & contents renewal proposal (which includes decent cover for the bikes) has been received from Aviva and its gone down by a fiver.
There's a definite springlike feel again today. Broken sunshine with a gentle southerly, around 10C, the robins have been having an all night sing off, and landscape gardeners have been installing a couple of flower beds in the little park below.
