I realised looking at the glasses frame the thinner part of the arm that had detached was simply a, presumably glued, push ft into the remainder.
A further search of the car revealed a 5p coin and then, maybe due to slightly changed angle of the sun, the broken off arm.
Now back together with superglue hopefully doing its job.

The sunny day transitioned to cold and wet with icy wind.

Flippin cold in the shade, an outside light has been trying to fall off the wall for a few weeks.
Refitted with wet n fix patched wrapped around the wall plugs then indoor for a mug of hot tea and a scone.
