Lovely sunny dry day spent at The Royal Observatory, Greenwich more to see than you think. So much high end world leading scientific craftsmanship to marvel over. Sadly due to the wind being too strong the 1pm time ball was having a day off.

Only issue was finding out DLR was not running once we’d got to our planned start point. So ended up having to go on DLR the long way via Stratford station once we’d found our way round it. Who designed the layout? The flow is so bad and a right miss mash.
It's ages since I've been there but I remember that there were some stunning chronometer/timepieces/clocks in there. (I lived for 10 years with a balcony view of the time ball but I've still never seen it fall!)

That was a fine result in the North London derby.

Same score as in November, btw.

Yes they are all still on display, just seeing John Harrison’s collection of clocks alone is something to behold a life times work to achieve perfection.

This could be an expensive away day. They're using wristbands for a band at the end of March that I wasn't aware of and would really like to see and could probably do if I compromise on the hotel and train travel. I'll do the figures when I get home on Monday.

It the Leeds Valentine's Fair and will be dismantled tomorrow morning.

This evening I've entered my first time trial in almost two years, which is in early March. Two things to note:

- I'll be using my pink Raleigh 653 for the TT, as I've entered the 'steel frame' bike category.
- I'm not sure what they'll think of me using downtube shifters on a TT.
