As it's starting to lighter and warmer my collection of carnivorous plants. Are starting move out of winter dormant stage so I've just up the watering so they can stay sat in water. It also means the ones I want to buy to add them should start to be available once fresh stock feeds though.

Afternoon.
I have had a busy day. First of all I swapped my bikes around, I had to move several to get to the one I wanted. I then had to find a pair of wheels for my Synapse. Once I found some wheels I cycled round to my friend's garage to try to sort out my mig welder and grinder. I removed the wire speed controller unit from the welder to take to my brother's for him to check it. That would be for this afternoon's ride.
This afternoon I ordered some new brushes for my grinder and then cycled over to my brother's.
A total of 13 miles cycled today.

Sunny afternoon pefect for the work visits I have been putting off due to the awful weather we have had.
Stopped at a set of traffic lights in Ripon and a slight thud on the rear right as the car behind failed to react properly, swerved and didn't fully avoid. Bumper and fog light damaged/broken. They said they would pay.

It's been a grey, murky and chilly day here chez Casa Reynard, after a very foggy start.

Slept well enough. Met up with a friend and her dogs for a nice walk around the village playing fields. Hat and coat definitely needed. It was nice to catch up and set the world to rights. The rest of the morning was spent doing the usual chores, along with the additional task of taking the vacuum cleaner for a walk around the house.

Didn't bother with the hall, as I'm still tracking so much mud and bits of firewood through, but I shall take a broom to things instead. Also, I wanted to spare Madam Boo the trauma, as she really *hates* the vacuum cleaner.

Had a lovely luncheon of seeded toast with smoked mackerel, plus an apple, a tangerine and a :cuppa:

Cut a bit of firewood this afternoon. Didn't go lumberjilling, just turned some pre-cut lengths into a case of logs. After, I had a bit of fun, and made some granola bars. They're currently cooling, and I shall cut them up shortly.

A quiet evening spent writing and listening to the football on the radio is planned.
