According to AI...

That unique distinction belongs to Halesworth railway station on the East Suffolk Line.

While several stations in Suffolk have a level crossing at one end of the platform (like Westerfield or Stowmarket), Halesworth historically featured a setup so constrained by space that it required a very unusual engineering solution.

👍

Another case of AI hallucinations - Halesworth only has a foot crossing at the southern end of the station.

I'm now going to have to keep an eye on the podcast mentioned by @Speicher for the answer

Could be a trick question do they mean working ones or have evidence of one ? Wikipedia says Halesworth had two , one being very different as the trackbed moved out the way. That level crossing is now closed but still visible at the end of the platform.

May I ask another question?

Greg James is doing a challenge to raise funds for Comic Relief. Setting aside any opinions you may have about Comic Relief, who is paying for the Police escort, including eight (I think) motorcycle out-riders and two vehicles?
