Also this morning spotted another Waymo car. Seen a few the last few days one close up. Still have a driver as they are testing them but it’s clear to see it the car that’s driving its self. Looks like something out of Captain Scarlett and the mistorons.

I liked the way that the ones in China all came to a halt.

So the hack we did on the boat tickets yesterday also got us free travel today. So had a morning on the river again. Just back for a rest up , leave are bags and have some food then out for wonder in central London. Before going onto the theatre to see Avenue Q for the 3rd time now it’s back in the west end. Last time was on national tour a few years ago now.

Two two hour gardening sessions. My word it was hot in the afternoon. So today i moved the cut down branches over to the spare land. Then i began weeding three areas to be used as veg patches. My word the first one was so full of dandelion weeds and deep weeds it took ages, anyway it's not a race and my neighbour came out and did some serious work on and in his greenhouse.Tuesday off to Lancashire fish and chips then to check why mail is not being redirected despite an order in since Feb,back to gardening Weds and Saturday or Friday whichever suits me.It is wonderful to be out and helping again.

It's been a lovely sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, but the breeze was chilly.

Slept well enough, but came up seriously short once again. As a result, I've not felt that great today. I did meet up with my friend Linda for a lovely dog walk around the village playing fields and some local trails - I really needed the distraction.

But other than the basic chores, I've done almost nothing today. I had planned on doing some admin, but ended up just curling up with a book and having a serious snaccident involving sharing bags of assorted stuff. That then turned into a bit of a nap.

But I did manage to locate some of the paperwork I needed for the admin stuff after having a moment of inspiration and a mental jog from another friend who is currently going through exactly the same.

While I was doing that, I ran across my paternal grandad's Longines watch. Gave it a little bit of a wind, popped it on my wrist, and it's chuntering away, keeping time really well. Not bad for a watch that's more than old enough to get a telegram from the King for its birthday. At 38mm it's too big for me to wear comfortably, so it'll go back in its box. But it's nice to give it a bit of wrist time.

I'm now sat with a roast beef sandwich and a :cuppa: and watching feed from Artemis II

Wasn't meant to take all day. After the success of reshelving the small plastic shed a 9am purchase was made in Wickes at Moor Allerton Leeds of 5 1.83m floorboards
These being to replace the rather lumpy profile of mdf shelves in the timber shed.
Once cut all including those forming the shelf in the plastic shed given two coats of preserver.
Between coats the lumpy mdf taken to a quite recycling site, suspect many thought it was closed. Tesco then shopped for apple pies and chocolate sponge puds.
Back in the shed I discovered one of the wall fixing uprights to the shelving on the other side of the shed had worked loose so a further emptying needed.
Need to have a big purge on its contents but ran out of time to do that today.
Once everything was back in the hybrid fitted at the third attempt of reorganising accompanied by the outside light coming on.
