It's been a lovely sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, but the breeze was chilly.
Slept well enough, but came up seriously short once again. As a result, I've not felt that great today. I did meet up with my friend Linda for a lovely dog walk around the village playing fields and some local trails - I really needed the distraction.
But other than the basic chores, I've done almost nothing today. I had planned on doing some admin, but ended up just curling up with a book and having a serious snaccident involving sharing bags of assorted stuff. That then turned into a bit of a nap.
But I did manage to locate some of the paperwork I needed for the admin stuff after having a moment of inspiration and a mental jog from another friend who is currently going through exactly the same.
While I was doing that, I ran across my paternal grandad's Longines watch. Gave it a little bit of a wind, popped it on my wrist, and it's chuntering away, keeping time really well. Not bad for a watch that's more than old enough to get a telegram from the King for its birthday. At 38mm it's too big for me to wear comfortably, so it'll go back in its box. But it's nice to give it a bit of wrist time.
