The Chrysler Ypsilon I picked up cheaply has lots of 'sounds'; rattling and loose exhaust (new clamps and re-pasting up needed), clunks (suspension bushes and/or engine mounts) plus an unpleasant oil smell (gearbox probably).

Otherwise it's perfectly fine

Transport duties completed. Stepfather is getting on very well with his new hip and is now moving around easily on elbow crutches rather than the walking frame used for the past couple of weeks.

I'm going to have a light lunch and a coffee then I'm off out to enjoy the sunshine for an hour or more.
