The Chrysler Ypsilon I picked up cheaply has lots of 'sounds'; rattling and loose exhaust (new clamps and re-pasting up needed), clunks (suspension bushes and/or engine mounts) plus an unpleasant oil smell (gearbox probably).

Otherwise it's perfectly fine

Transport duties completed. Stepfather is getting on very well with his new hip and is now moving around easily on elbow crutches rather than the walking frame used for the past couple of weeks.

I'm going to have a light lunch and a coffee then I'm off out to enjoy the sunshine for an hour or more.

I found a purse in Tesco's this afternoon.
It had lots of bank cards etc in the slots & maybe money, too but I didn't look further into the depths.. Who knows what other stuff a ladies purse could have lurking within!! 😲

I handed in to the security & customer counter so, hopefully, it will be reunited with it's owner.

Sunny day till it rained a bit this afternoon. Birds have shown no mealworm feeder is needed by completely emptying the sunflower heart feeder of them.

I've just been taste-testing a range of possible desserts for SWMBO, to help decide which should be put into hospitals across parts of Yorkshire.



It's a difficult job, but someone's got to do it.

tried safflower seed hearts - but that's a no-go, what a mess. going back to sunflower seed hearts

nice I got a 40 minute walk in today, thanks to having to get the car from the shop
