Good morning from Suffolk where the sunshine has returned almost filling the house battery from the solar panels already. Coffee has been had.

This morning will be mostly spent on domestics - bedding change & wash, vacuuming, kitchen floor, etc. Hopefully that should leave some free time for a bit of outside fresh air in the afternoon. May look to plan a day out on Thursday as I'm already booked for old person transport duties on Wednesday.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I am about to counterbalance my ridiculously healthy supper by shoving a whole chocolate muffin down the hatch.

... in one go.

Is how I read that.

Coffee break is nearly over and time to decide whether to finish off the domestics or go out for a bit.

Slight change of plans in that the morning sun showed how much dust there was on the TV stand so that had to be wiped down and properly cleaned with Autoglym glass cleaner. Bedding changed and in the wash, vacuuming done then bright idea...as I'm doing pensioner transport on Wednesday, cut the grass and get the clippings to the recycling centre on the way. First short cut of the year done and three bags of clippings collected, back indoors, start to make the booking and guess what day the recycling centre is closed
At least the grass looks tidier and it got done before the washing was finished and that's now out on the whirligig drying in the remaining sunshine.

Slightly cheered at lunchtime by finding Tesco had reduced most freefrom items.
Only called in whilst passing to get some bananas. The passing being because the car had been back to the bodyshop.
Reversing at the weekend I misread a sunny reflection in the rear view mirror as not being a parked car. Slight stratching acquired but a quote way beyond the excess on the insurance. Now has to go to a body shop beyond Ripon near the A1. Making the booking it said they would plant a tree if I did not want a loan car. Um.. 4 buses a day and the first two before it opens and the others between 5pm and 6pm. Think a loan car is needed.

Blood test first thing went OK. No bruise showing yet.
Nice walk with Bonnie, once the traffic died down, after popping into B&M to exchange some light bulbs.. 100w (equivalent) would guide aliens in for an Earth landing so swapped for 60w (equivalent).

Cut the grass this afternoon then had to dismantle the lawnmower so I could sharpen the blades. While I had the angle grinder out, I did the shears & edge cutter, too. 👍

Decided to finish off the domestics before I went out this afternoon. Put the best bike outside the back door, shoes, keys, etc by the front door and then swept & steam mopped the kitchen floor. Changed clothing and out for an hour and a half on the bike while the floor dried. It would have been less time, but three separate lots of roadworks (including one complete road closure with no prior warning signs) causing traffic chaos.
Unless you were on a bike ^_^

Very little done since except for mapping a couple of routes for Thursday, one drive-ride-drive the other train-ride-drinks-train and I'll decide on the day. The football is on in the background and
I think @Reynard may be quite happy at the moment

Time for the evening's hot chocolate.

It's been a grey but mild day here chez Casa Reynard.

Did not sleep terribly well. Took me ages to drop off and then seriously short changed. Downstairs, feed cat, make a :cuppa: and head off upstairs to do some writing. Actually got a fair bit done on the new chapter, so pleased.

Chores done at a more godly hour, and then also spent an hour weeding in the garden. Also did some admin. Which will unfortunately lead to more admin.

Had a lovely luncheon of an egg mayonnaise sandwich, a yoghurt with strawberries and a pot of tea.

Did some more writing, and then went off to do a bunch of strimmering. I got the thing started, but then the starter cord came off the pulley. So getting that reattached is on tomorrow's agenda. That said, I got a good bit done again.

A lovely supper of a sausage & cheese toastie and a peanut flapjacky thingy.

And yes @Jenkins I'm well made up!
