Off out to meet daughter to take the dogs for a nice long walk along the banks of the River Nene.
If we finish at 9ish, the Harvester on Riverside is open for breakfast.. 👍

It looks a bit cloudy and breezy here today.
Several of the museum visits to the canal trust visit yesterday didn't get to get a ride on the boat. It was a bit disorganised and turned into a free for all. Never mind!

Good morning from a cloudy, breezy and distinctly chilly Suffolk. Coffee has been had and the first race from Snetterton has just finished.

A quiet day is planned with possibly just a walk/slow bike ride into town later on as I have a free hot drink code that needs using up by the end of the day. The most difficult thing is to decide on whether it's burger & chips, sausage & chips or a takeaway for tea this evening.

That wind's still bloomin' chilly!
It was certainly blowing across The Washlands earlier in our walk..

Yep, definitely chilly out in the breeze. Used the bike as it meant less time out in the cold.

Just a short loop into Felixstowe and back to have the free hot drink. I know I shouldn't complain as I'm not paying for it, but the Greggs hot chocolate is consistently disappointing and their coffee isn't any better. Perhaps I should get up much earlier on Monday mornings when Octopus release the codes on the app to nab the free Cafe Nero ones.

Stopped off at Morrisons on the way home as I fancied a snack (ultimate sausage roll in the end) and was glad I did as they had some Jersey Royals on yellow sticker so that's the first half of next week sorted.

The tea time decision has been made - burger & chips will be had in about 3 hours.

Another change of plan today, not much been done other than a walk into town. Afternoon walk will be had shortly.

My thoughts as well. After a year of local chaos suspect there will be somewhat of a change in next years elections.

Last year the red clowns believing they have a right to rule. Without any engagement just changed the cycle from 1/3 every year to one all out election every 4 years. Which has now back fired on them , so we are locked in for 4 year.
