Good morning from a dry but mostly cloudy Suffolk.

Coffee has been had with the first biscuit from a freshly opened pack of 'Oaties' as the accompaniment. All that's needed to be done today is to take a walk into town as I need a new light bulb for the living room light. For those interested it's an E14 R50 that's required and the local hardware shop should have them in stock as it seems to have almost everything else.

Both making sure they do not have to host it next year.

Was sunny, now cloudy. Car drunk far too many ££ of the expensive stuff. Waitrose, Tesco and Co-op shopping respectively primarily for app reduced price fish and scones, more freefrom at 1/5th off, and reduced price (furthered by app reductions) chicken beasts and ice cream, plus three cottage pies from the clearance secction now freezing. Home just in time to remove a loaf from the bread maker.

been a long since I got out on the bike but I made it yesterday. dunno how the fishing was but it was a glorious day for cycling

I don't get many days off. after the ride, I took a nap w/ the cat, feeling the warm breeze thru our bedroom window & listening to birds chip

Giant shop can't collect. More positively came on a 3 mile trek to Chevin Cycles. They can do the change of the controller on the ebike but not for 6 weeks. Waiting on on an ebike shop at Knaresboroigh before deciding but both will want the controller supplying so that will be ordered.
The trek returned via Tesco as I had left an item in the basket this morning, definitely took it off the shelf but not on the receipt.
Sun reappeared.

Mrs 73 messaged me the train has arrived Manchester and loads of people have got off. I wonder if they are Andy's fan club

Light bulb purchased, but on the way home I had to dive into a pub to escape a passing shower.

A few more cuppas have been had along with lots of buffet style food and an afternoon stroll has been travelled.

Time to relax.

A new local post office is open 7 days a week so work parcel dropped off to save me trying to find time tomorrow.

Afternoon walk done missing most of the rain. Monday's housework all done , now time for a sit down and . Listening to the Yorkshire game as I do.

Rather unsurprisingly given the fresh air & 🍺this afternoon, a decent snooze was had once I got home.

The non-recycling bin has been moved to the front of the house ready for emptying in the morning. Despite not having been done for at least six weeks, there's only just enough in there to cover the two black sacks of grass clippings from a couple of weeks ago. The next round isn't for two weeks next Thursday when they start the new system and it's getting a bit fragrant in there as it is.

Hot chocolate time soon.
