I rode out to the lighthouse this morning and walked out to it. I did think about going further, but this road is insanely busy and downright unpleasant to cycle. I'm pleased I didn't decide to cycle the NC 500.

I'm thinking about writing a parody of a Katie Melua song. My version will be called "Nine million camper vans at Loch Broom!"

I also did the rounds of the museum, tourists shops etc, but I don't have any need for fluffy Loch Ness mo sters or postcards of cows in phone boxes.

Just relaxing now and watching the world pass by until it's time for my bus.

I wonder how much the people on that cruise liners paid for the privilege, and whether or not they've enjoyed it any more than I have.

There's a huge Volvo SUV thing here that seems to be leaking diesel.

Pre lunchtime stroll has just been travelled only 2 hours late.

It tried raining a few times whilst we were out.

Left arm is now much lighter than the right one.

Two donors fainted during my session - they had come round by the time I departed.

Washing machine instructions and control panel are in Italian - not very helpful. We will cope.
