I rode out to the lighthouse this morning and walked out to it. I did think about going further, but this road is insanely busy and downright unpleasant to cycle. I'm pleased I didn't decide to cycle the NC 500.

I'm thinking about writing a parody of a Katie Melua song. My version will be called "Nine million camper vans at Loch Broom!"

I also did the rounds of the museum, tourists shops etc, but I don't have any need for fluffy Loch Ness mo sters or postcards of cows in phone boxes.

Just relaxing now and watching the world pass by until it's time for my bus.

I wonder how much the people on that cruise liners paid for the privilege, and whether or not they've enjoyed it any more than I have.

There's a huge Volvo SUV thing here that seems to be leaking diesel.

Pre lunchtime stroll has just been travelled only 2 hours late.

It tried raining a few times whilst we were out.

Left arm is now much lighter than the right one.

Two donors fainted during my session - they had come round by the time I departed.

Washing machine instructions and control panel are in Italian - not very helpful. We will cope.

A sudden rush to achieve a result this afternoon...just bagged a (used) telephoto lens for almost half the.price I was almost prepared to pay from a shop just a few days ago.
A few years old but its immaculate, guy said he hardly ever used it.

Post WAH Co-op trek was however dry: 6 royal galas and next weeks TV guide for £1.69 but the reduced section was void of anything tempting so one of the weekend cottage pie purchases currently being microwaved.

After calling in at Specsavers i was walking home,i spotted a car with my personal reg number B17 BME.B17 after the saddle i have, and my name Bob Mee.Mind you i hate driving.

In Inverness now. Bus journey went very well. It's a good service and avoids riding on that crazy road.

I'm waiting on Chicken Balmoral now. I suspect I'll be the only one ever to cycle the Hebridean Way and put on weight!

Went out for a walk mid-afternoon under grey skies and 30 minutes later had to take my jacket off as the sun came out and it warmed up suddenly. 75 minutes/four and a half miles and perfectly timed to listen to one complete podcast which was just what was needed.

Since then - nothing done other than yet more reading, more radio and more food, coffee and squash. Which is just how I like it.

Yes, but I will be taking the bus back to Stranraer with the bike booked on as luggage.
