Having just seen a picture of a packed beach on the news headlines has made my mind up for Tuesday - I'm going inland.

Time for the evening's hot chocolate and then possibly an early night.

I survived the first day back at work, not as bad as I feared.

The exciting thing is that my shed is apparently being delivered and assembled tomorrow.i look forward to having a workshop again.

I dismantled my tent shed where my bikes had been living and cleared up in preparation after work.

Back from son no. 2's where the jungle garden has been tamed for now. Nettles pulled up - in a thick coat and hat in heat - black plastic down over the worst sections.

Hopefully it's maintenance and minor clearance for a while:

The pile stacked left-to-right from the wall to compost bin are the weeds we've cleared.

emptied, cleaned, pulled carpet, incl. the nail strips & painted the floor, 2 coats. the choices of color were limited to what we had on hand, so I went w/black. Wifey came home & I scored points so she made me a sandwich

Might I suggest cedar blocks? Or wall board made of cedar? Our linen closets were lined with cedar, kept woolen in there as well. And smokes, IIRC.
