June ? Mixture of heavy April showers and March winds
Mobile rang mid afternoon. Car ready could I pay the excess. Benefit of WAH was I could use the card I use for online transactions.
Work software seemed to behave itself until a report came out as blank. Couldn't find anything wrong so referred it to those who somehow understand the antique software better.

45 minute pre-teatime walk today under grey skies, fine drizzle and a chilly stiff breeze.

On the way out I moved the non-recycling bin to the front of the house ready for emptying on Thursday morning. It's also the first of the waste food caddy collections but a) mine's not been delivered yet and b) we have Gulls who seem to be very efficient at getting rid of the minimal food waste I have anyhow.

Soon be hot chocolate time.

It's been a cool, soggy, squelchy and blustery day here chez Casa Reynard.

Overslept massively, to be woken up by a cat that wanted her breakfast. Have felt decidedly tired and sub-par today down to probably doing too much yesterday combining with a bunch of lady issues. Went downstairs, fed the cat, made a :cuppa: and spent what remained till lunchtime upstairs writing from the comfort of my bed.

Had a lovely luncheon of a crusty white roll filled with luncheon meat, a tangerine, a banana, a chunk of homemade flapjack and my little pot of tea.

Was on a bit of go-slow this afternoon, but still did a bit in the utility room. The last mystery suitcase revealed another load of moth-eaten fur coats, so those have been bagged up and readied for a tip run. I found about a dozen irons in one of the cupboards that was wedged shut by the aforementioned suitcase. And several mixers in another. Now you guys know why I get so depressed about this.

Supper was tofu scramble on toast, with baked beans and a salad on the side.

Just watched a really interesting documentary about CERN and the Large Hadron Collider.

Mend quickly @fossyant :hugs:

Good morning from a dull & overcast Suffolk. Most of the first mug of coffee of the day has been had, the remainder is soaking into the freshly changed duvet & cover after an unexpected sneeze. They will be chucked into the washing machine to be dealt with shortly.

This morning will involve getting the ebike out of the shed, attaching the panniers and going food shopping for the rest of the week - hopefully getting it done before the predicted rain appears later on. Afternoon activity (or lack of) will depend on the weather.

We will be going your way tomorrow. Off to Sutton Hoo.
