Grey and wet here but not raining at the moment.
We're going off to Sutton Hoo tomorrow, Hoo tomorrow ,Hoo tomorrow!

Good morning from Suffolk which has gone from being bright & breezy to dull and breezy. At least it's dry - for now.
Coffee has been had and I think I heard the sounds of bins being emptied earlier so I'll check and retrieve as necessary shortly. Don't think I'll be doing much today.

We will be going your way tomorrow. Off to Sutton Hoo.

Oddly, despite that being only about 15 miles from here, I've never visited the site. Cycled past it loads of times, but never stopped. Have a good time.

Off work still. MrsF now has an eye infection (I think it's a stye on the way as it looks similar to what I had a couple of years ago). She tried the GP, survey says go to A&E or agree to a waiver and you might get a call in 48 hours. Tried eye hospital, that says Optician. I said her optician will know best and she'll get seen (it's a local small business). It's not an A&E issue, just needs something to reduce the swelling.

Birthday meal is off, got to cancel later. Booo

Catching the No 14 bus into town for my swimming session as the stop has a shelter whereas the No's 17 & X7's doesn't.

I could actually save £3:60 on swimming by standing in the garden in my speedos and flapping my arms & legs around!! ☔☔☔

Slight update, Optician had a real good look at MrsF's eye, slight stretching on the ball as she's had dry eyes recently, but three blocked ducts so it is a stye(s). No charge, but she bought an antibacterial eye mask from him that you heat up (better than a hot towel). All sorted. The heat encourages the stye to come 'out/unblock.'

Sad news for son no. 1 whose new young cat was hit by a car on Tuesday and died. Someone kindly stopped and took it to the vet, who were excellent with him. He'd only had the cat since last autumn and it was settling in nicely.

The bin had been emptied as I thought, so that's been retrieved. Stuck a load of towels on to wash and then popped out to get some shopping that I forgot yesterday - it didn't half get very wet very suddenly. Twice.
Once the spin cycle's finished and the towels are on the clothes horse, I'm going to have a coffee and a couple of slices of toast.

Right, we are still going out. The heat mask seems to be helping unblock the oils from her eye lid and the drugs are making me feel a bit better.

Didn't want to let our local restaurant down.
