Dog's have had a short 'unloading' walkies 🦮 🐶
A longer walk will happen when the grandkids have risen.

This afternoon, after my mini pump failed when needed on a ride this morning along with a club-mate's which also didn't work, I checked the collection of mini pumps I have. Another three are in the bin, including the one that's been attached to my commuter bike for the past two years. My guess is that rain and dirt have got in and degraded
Yes I’ve had several fail for apparently the same reason, certainly not because of heavy use. These days I ride mostly with a rack pack so carry one protected from the elements in that.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a bright & sunny start to the day. In line with the 'slow Sunday' theme on 6Music this morning I'm having a very slow start to the day.

Coffee has been had ahead of today's away day to York to see Gans at The Crescent this evening. It's an add on to Monday's Newcastle outing thanks to a cheap hotel room, so isn't costing me much that more than just the trip to Newcastle alone. Due to the rail line being closed between Bury St. Edmunds & Peterborough (a 3 hour coach trip for a 1 hour train journey!) I'm going via London. This gives me over an hour to get from Liverpool Street to Kings Cross which should be a pleasant 2.5 mile walk with the weather as it is today.

Yes - the last two Harry Potter films.

Surely you're thinking of Arthur Weasley's Ford Anglia from The Chamber of Secrets? The opening scenes of the first film has a motorbike and sidecar (belonging to Sirius Black, but ridden by Rubeus Hagrid) in them.

Most likely. The Cortina was closer in looks to the Falcon. A fellow near me had an Anglia in his barn, it was for sale when the old barn was pulled down.

Dry but definite lack of wind and since early pm any sun. Not sure how well drying the washing is doing.
Think I have got the inner plunger on the new bikes front brake moving. It clearly can be seen now pushing onto the disc. Still noisy but the pads haven't been bedded in yet.

Lovely day been had wondering round Covent Garden, ect and back streets around. Spotted the Inigo Jones gardens and St Pauls Church was open. So sat in the sunshine having ours sandwiches away from the crowds. Then looked round the church it’s never been open before. It’s a nice little church with lots of history. Spotted may well known actors names on the walls , they also have a bar with Barbara Windsor’s plaque suitably placed behind it inc the line “get out of my pub”

We also got to see this as we came out the Apple shop.
