Whenever I hear Pink Floyd I think back to one day in primary school. The teacher came in and put a Pink Floyd album on and sat back in her chair with her feet up. We listened to the full album. After it finished she asked us what the music meant to us and what we thought it was saying....

I think it was saying she had been out for a 'smoke' before class.

This always takes me back to the Magazine Hotel in Leicester in the mid 80s, the landlord (Mark Kershaw) used to put this on the pub HiFi (a pair of Bose 301 studio moniters and big Kef speakers with a 60w into 4 channel Rotel amp) and crank it up at about 10:15 on a Friday/Saturday night, place used to erupt.

Then follow it up with a bit of Robert Cray

It was only a smallish bar and the amp would be almost on the point of 'clipping', glorious. :becool:

Then there was always this classic that was only ever heard on pub jukeboxes in the 70s, I didn't know anyone who actually had a record of it.

That is proper spooky...because right after I put on The Upsetters, another friend put on, oh yes, that very track.
