naughty lil' ferrets found a new toy.

the extendable hose from the back of my BRAND NEW NEVER USED tumble dryer.

and not content with finding a bendy hose that stretched, they then decided they needed to get in it and crawl up inside the tumble dryer... and... ooooooo... what's this rubber thing inside.. lets bring it outside.

who knows where that came from.

how long can you stay mad at them when they are bouncing around your feet in sheer excitement at finding their new "toy"??

(think i put the rubber ring back in the right place, but what do i know when i've got my hand up the back of the dryer and can't see what i'm actually doing?)

I encountered a ferret called Sandy at a pub a few months ago. There was a bloke in the corner with a little wooden box on the floor. He kept bending down and feeding chips into it. As I looked closer I could see small paws coming up and taking the chips from him.

Very cute.

We used to have a ferret called Kaiser when I was a kid. If handled properly make very good pets (apart from the smell). Everyone shed a tear when he went, he was a lovely creature, and very gentle ;)
