I've not actually used the 501 wheels yet. As the roads round here are so bad i'm waiting for these ones to need a truing then i'll swap em over!

ahh ok well let me know how you get on, I'm in the process of trying to fix mine using different sized spacers and much fettling!

I have a 3mm on the same setup with no problems. Does your front derailleur just need a small adjustment?

I've played with the front derailleur loads and i've had no luck. Hopefully upgrading my groupset soon so i'm happy stuck on the small ring for now
