Perfect. Go for a ride.
Your derailer's capacity is exceeded by about 1 tooth but I think you'll be OK of you try and not ride in big/big.
Derailer capacity is given in total number of teeth, not maximum size. The latter is simply the maximum size of the largest cassette sprocket. Capacity is the total teeth difference it can handle. It is calculated as follows:

1) Subtract smallest cassette sprocket number for largest. I.e. 28-11= 17
2) Subtract smallest chainring from largest i.e. 52 - 36 = 16
3) Add front and back i.e. 17 plus 17 = 33. Your RD must be rated at least 33.

Great advice thanks. It doesn't sound great in big/big, and no I don't use that combo. I did spend a long time today measuring up. Now it's done I do have a better understanding of chain lengths. It does shift ok at the moment, but need a longer ride to test. Thanks for the help.
