My first attempt at a single speed!

Here at long last is my first attempt at building a single speed! hope the pics are ok, I am as rubbish doing them as I am a cycle mechanic!
Frame came out of a skip, if anyone can id it I would be most grateful!
Handlebars, stem, brakes, seat pillar were attached to frame.
Mavic aero wheels, tyres and saddle donated by my cycling boss.
Steel cotterless chainset and pedals I had kicking about in the shed.
The only new purchases were a new bottom bracket, rear brake cable, and a single speed convertor from Charlie the bike monger.
I know that it is a bit of a mongrel, but I love it, it is also very light and surprisingly rapid, even with me on it! I would love to know what the frame is, it has a Reynolds 531 double butted frame transfer and a 531 stamped on the bb shell, nothing else.

Mongrel? No way. Remove anything from it & it'd cease to be a bicycle, which is how it should be.

Looks good in the middle of building my own from an old raliegh frame but its taking its time lol

Looks like a good hack, it's a plain old unbutted chromoly Raleigh though despite the 531 sticker and someone stamping 531 on the BB, it's still usable and light enough though, much better than a gas pipe frame.

Keep an eye on the Unicrown forks, they tend to rot from the inside out at the crown and then fail, the chroming process uses sulphuric acid and the unsealed 3 part crown was a lurking place for the acid, replecements are cheap enough though these days.
