Apathy. It's all right - nice on toast, useful to cook with (vegetarians - makes quite a nice stock for french onion soup) but can't say I'd be that bothered if world stocks ran out.

Unless it was because there was a world shortage of brewing waste, because no one was making beer anymore...?

For me - it's got to be - thick white bread, well toasted, immediate spreading of butter/marge, then marmite (not too thickly)...enjoy!

Marmite is definitely the food of the gods. Thickly spread on fresh white bread or crumpets! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

But I have to admit that as a child, I did enjoy marmite on bananas! Surely the perfect cycling snack?
