Better that way than the reverse (although I wouldn't mind if they improved the water resistance on what is a brilliant light for the money).

Thankfully I've never had an issue in the rain (and when it rains it rains here!) with my 1/2 watt light. Where do you mount yours? I have mine on the seat post, so I suppose it does get some shelter from the seat.

I have 3. 2 on my rucsack and 1 on rear frame virtually next to the brake.

I dropped one which now won't turn off so I just take the batteries
out ;)

Update: Ive made myself a mount out of a stem, although a little bulky, its all i had at the time. Now means that i dont catch the light with my leg on the way round .

Looks good! I've been really dissapointed with my 1/2 watt superflash's weather resistance. It gets soaked through if it rains and won't switch off until it's completely dried out.

Same problem here- but at least it fails in the on position. I've never had one give out on me.

I saw some kid with a rear light the same sort of thing with it on in the morning at Tower Gateway a few years ago I think it was by Sun.I ordered a few but the company I ordered from didn't deliver it.I was impressed with it but could never fin it on ebay.

The S-Sun one which looks similar is impressive. It's bright enough to be seen in daylight. They used to have them online at StJohn St Cycles. But I got mine from my LBS, Specialised Cycles in Norwich.

I must admit that does look really nice - dare i ask what the cost was in the end? If i get some money in the future i would maybe consider getting it - the 4 or so hours of battery life was a bit annoying so do let us know how the battery lasts !!!! Id be very interested to hear what you think of it.

Was looking at this rear light myself and found this on the BLT website, might be a solutions to your mounting problem

Impressive! I am looking at this system as well, but does this mean you have two battery packs on the bike?

I might go for the 140L rear and 200L front (both connected to one battery pack with Dinotte Y connector) but the Ayup front light is better, dilemma, dilemma... ;)
