My video has been rejected from Youtube? Why?

It involved a van (F85 ABC) and the driver being on the phone.

I can only expect that it has been rejected because I displayed the company's details in the title (FBS ABC Motorcycle Training). I havent received any comments from the company or even a reply from the email I sent them.
The only other reason is that someone from the company has got in touch with Youtube and asked for the video to be removed. I have gone through YT terms and conditions, and in relation to rejection, it has nothing relating to this.

What has happened?

Someone (either the driver or the company) has probably complained, and it seems like YT are a bit over-zealous in taking down videos whether or not the complaint has merit.

It's one thing for them to remove a video, but to do it without telling you what they have done and why is a bit rough!

Nope! Not heard one word from them. I dont have a date/reason/request for removal. There isnt even a direct link to how you can contact someone relating to the incident. I will go on the help in a little while and see if I can get a live email convo started with someone.

Don't bother dealing with YouTube, Matthew. Just PM user rosickyize and get him to upload a copy of it, and again put the rego and company name in there. Then message the company and tell them to look up the Streisand Effect on wiki, and that their video is up again.

make a new account, and upload it with a new name, without the full company name or reg number in the title.
Dont even include it in the description, just put the info using a video editor. This way people will still see the vid but no one will be able to find it by typing in the name of the company.

But why would we want to do that? It's about bringing consequences to the driver, and to the company to damn well make sure their drivers are not going to do it again. That's why it's important that the video be searchable for the registration and for the company name.

If you go into your youtube account then select video manager then it will list all your videos - including those that have been removed with a reason why they were removed.

Has it actually been rejected? Could there have been an upload error? I've had a few like that and had to resubmit.

Having watched the video ages ago, it's a small company and if it's not the company, it's the driver making a spurious privacy complaint.

Don't let them get away with it, Matthew!!
