Ok so it's motorbikes, but it's a potential approach to bike theft in general

"Local police are said to be treating the duct-taped men as victims in the situation and an investigation has been launched to find the mystery suspect."

I hope they aren't trying too hard to find the suspect.

I love it when sheetbags get some karma. If they can't take the rough with the smooth then they're in the wrong line of work.

There was an incident around the turn of the century where a local villain tried to rob a guy at knife point one night. Unfortunately, the tables quickly turned when the victim whipped out a machete and robbed the original villain of his money instead. My how we all cheered when we heard about it.

He would have been easy to identify if you had really wanted to. Mick "Crocodile" Dundee, of Walkabout Creek, Australia; surely?

This seems rather odd to me. How on earth is he managing to fully tape a person without them struggling or running off (i know it says one had bruises so some altercation must have occured)? There is one with two kids, no way would one stand there whilst he taped the other. I have enough trouble keeping a box still when I try to wrap it in parcel tape!

But once you take a step down that road, the next step is but a small one. Does he try particularly hard to establish guilt, or just pick up a local kid that "might" have done the crime?

Agreed

This person has chosen themselves as police, judge and jury.

Like the people a few years ago who attacked a doctor, thinking paediatrician was a synonym of paedophile.

I call BS. Like @midlandsgrimpeur says, he'd need to knock them both out, tape one to the pole, then get the other one up and do the same. Or, restrain both of them under each arm, whilst taping them both up. If you look at the sticky tape, it actually looks like parcel tape and is in pristine condition. If they'd have struggled (which they surely would have), the tape would be all stretched and compressed into much finer strings, plus their partial bodyweight and/or pulling downwards would have pulled all of the tape towards the ground. Unless I'm being dumb and that's not an actual picture of the supposed scene

Having said that, I hate thieves. If someone had actual proof i.e. witnessed a balaclava-clad villain angle grinding a lock from a bike, I wouldn't be upset if said thieves lost a limb or a digit or two.
